The Aircon wasn't working so had to leave balcony door open at night and mosquitos came in. The shower needed attention but the water was hot. Overall a pleasant hotel, staff and surroundings. Bed was comfortable, room small but adequate, towels changed daily, 24 hour reception handy, small balcony with table and chairs convenient

Would Stay Here Again.
The hotel was in a convenient location close to many eateries and the city's Metro system, with a ten minute ride to the city center one minute away. Check-in was easy and the hotel had a fun, art vibe with each painting, for whihc there were many, labeled with the work's title, year, and artist. The free artsy postcards specific to the hotel were a nice touch. Would stay here again.

Screwed up booking.
Despite having booked via Hotels.com, the hotel had not registered my booking and just rented the room to someone. Their service was unhelpful, and I had to find another hotel late-evening in Turin. The worst part that exactly the same happened to a couple who arrived shortly after me.

Nice budget hotel
The hotel is 15-25 minutes walk from the centre and is nicely decorated and very clean. My room 104 had direct access to the first floor roof terrace with tables and chairs to enjoy a sunny afternoon. Being there on a Sunday I really appreciated the desk calling for a pizza for me. However there were a couple of issues for me. As a business traveller I need a desk and internet. The room provided a tiny desk not much bigger than my computer and the hotel internet was so slow I could not even load google maps to check the area. I ended up paying for a commercial network instead. Also the plastic dinning chair was quite uncomfortable after a while. So if you are a tourist this is a great hotel, but for business it may be better to try elsewhere. Saying that I would consider staying there again.

Noisy small room
The hotel location is good, and the décor quirky. Our room was bad though: the lift and stairs were basically "inside" the room which therefore was small and very noisy. The bed was extremely squeaky on the slightest movement. The bathroom tiny. Clean, and staff was friendly, but for 150 euros/night I would expect better, even in Turin.

Overall good except for room temperature control
Good location - right next to Metro station, short walk from Porta Susa train station and walkable into centre. Had trouble with temperature in the room - it was too hot. Our stay was at end of March so central heating was still on and apparently could not be switched off. The aircon was unable to cool the room down. The lady at reception gave us a small fan which made a small improvement.

Over-rated
We picked the hotel as an overnight stay mainly due to the location and the very high review ratings. The room we were given was on the top floor in the attic. It was very small with bad natural light (if you stood on tiptoe you could just see out of the small attic window with a poor view of the buildings and rooftops opposite). The room was lacking in basic amenities such as toiletries, coffee making. The slanting ceiling made it quite claustrophobic and made movement around the room awkward. If it hadn't been for the fact that we were there just for an overnight with an early departure I would have asked to be moved. Can't see how they can justify charging well above average prices for this grade of hotel. In short, poor value for money.
