Never again. Located in a terrible spot. Surrounded by people sleeping outside the hotel on the floor and benches, full of dog poop around. They keep entrance door closed, they are afraid of surrounding. NO PARKING AT ALL FOR 1/2 miles. The property do not allow a 5 minute park on the hotel parking spot because one of their employees MUST park his car on it . Terrible!! The mattress is the old mattress with spring. Never never never again.

I was impressed with the room and the location was superb. Was concerned with the 2star rating, however it surpassed a 2 star. The room was very clean, had amenities as well as mini bar. Breakfast was included in the price and it met our needs. Staff were attentive and helpful. No safe in room however front desk can assist with keeping valuables locked away. Staff may recommend a pizza place around the corner~ don’t waste your money, lousy food. Sorry don’t remember the name but it’s to the right and around the corner. Otherwise the hotel and staff were excellent

LOVELY SMALL HOTEL NEAR METRO.
Very nice Hotel with very friendly staff. Reaching the center of Turin is very easy since metro is one minute walk from Hotel. Nearby there are also restaurants, cafeterias, pharmacy, supermarket and more useful shops. I liked my stay even if just for two nights.

Not so good
We were very surprised to find that the front desk gal speaks and understands no English. None at all. Luckily I understand a tiny bit of Italian but it made things very difficult. Also, the maid didn't leave any soap in the bathroom our second night and I didn't realize until I went to take a shower/it was too late. The hotel is very loud with the staff constantly slamming doors, vacuuming early in the morning, etc. The shower took forever to get warm and water pressure is very low. I would not stay here again. The breakfast was fine though.

Excellent hotel. Very clean and staff very helpful. Strategic location public transport outside the front door and you can be in the centre in few minutes with the metro. Breakfast very good.room very clean and better than 4 stars hotels i ve been.

Close to the stadium
This is a great little hotel! The staff was wonderful and friendly, the room was a good size for one, clean, updated, had hot water in the shower. Water pressure was a little low but it was hot. Staff helped me with directions to get to my concert and were very nice. Its a 24 hour reception so no worries about coming back late. This is a little gem for the price! Thank you!

The staff was great! They always went above and beyond to assist me in giving directions and were extremely friendly. Room was clean and had everything I needed. It was very close to the Metro station and a quick walk to Valentino Park.

Wonderful deal with spacious room & friendly staff
This place is very good in its own right, but also an especially good value. We thought we're getting a double room but instead got a whole suite, the staff were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful, the breakfast cappuccinos were excellent, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We were traveling with a toddler, and things could not have been made easier for us.

Excellent value for money in Turin.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I stayed in a single room which was an excellent size, much bigger than most single rooms I have stayed in, with a covered terrace and a sizeable en suite bathroom. The room was very comfortble and I was happy to come back each evening of my stay to relax. It is a 45 minute walk from the centre, but the Metro is right outside the hotel, so with luggage getting to and from train and bus stations was very easy. Would definitely stay here again!

three of us stayed in the hotel, the gave us a beatiful 2 bedroom suite, the breakfast was complete, really good and they were very helpful with a 24 hour coffee and tea bar. we enjoyed our stay, 100% recommended

Great for Lingotto or easy for city too.
My stay at the Hotel Smeraldo was very good. I was in Turin for an event at Lingotto but found the hotels on the Lingotto site too expensive, not just to stay in but at some wifi was extra. So staying a couple stops on the Metro away seemed much better to me. It was a 10 minute journey to Lingotto or just as easy to head towards the city. The hotel itself had great rooms which were always clean. Breakfast was similar to other Italian hotels I've stayed in, so a mixture of pastries, cakes, bread, cold meats and cheeses. When the breakfast room was busy the staff provided a tray and I took my breakfast a separate room which was much quieter. Staff were always friendly and helpful. There is a public car park just in front of the hotel, although I only used it briefly to get dropped off/collected. Wifi was free and very good.

自宅のようなアットホームさが快適
シングルルームにしては充分な広さで自宅のようなアットホームな雰囲気でホームステイのような気分が味わえてとても気に入った。バルコニー付きで気分転換もできた。防音もすばらしく上や横の物音も気にならない。シャワー室も大変清潔で、水流の量や勢いもよくお湯の温度も調節できてよかった。スタッフの対応がフレンドリーで良い。朝食時に注文できるカプチーノが美味しい。難点は電気ポットが部屋にないこと。朝食部屋で熱いお湯はもらえた。ホテル並びのOVSデパートの地下にスーパーマーケット、早朝から深夜まで開店しているカフェ数軒、個人経営の小さな八百屋、タバッキ、バス停と地下鉄、ATMが揃っていて本当に便利。また泊まりたい。
