The wonderful city of Turin, the capital of Piedmont and famous for chocolate, offers countless opportunities and experiences. The city is known for the refinement of its architecture: in fact, one can admire sumptuous Baroque buildings that line Turin's large squares, such as Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo. In the historical centre stands the Mole Antonelliana, one of the symbols of Italy, together with the Royal Palace of Turin and Palazzo Madama. Turin offers attractions for every taste, from outdoor activities to gastronomy. For a walk amidst the greenery and the scent of flowers, you can visit the Botanical Garden of Turin on the left bank of the river Po, and the famous Valentino Park close to the city centre. Today, the province ranks as the best Italian centre for chocolate processing, and every year the 'Cioccolatò' event is inaugurated with parties, events and tastings.
For a tasting of typical Piedmontese dishes, don't miss the Ristorante Solferino and the Ristorante Consorzio.
Turin Caselle Airport is about 18 km from the accommodation, while Turin Porta Nuova Station is 750 m away.
