There were some amenities and activities included on premises but we didn’t get to use due to the short stay. The staff were attentive and personal, which made our trip felt special. "Arrived after stated check in time. Told room not ready as other guests did not check out. Had to wait over an hour. Room I was given was not the one I booked it was above winery building a long way from lodge and pool. Obnoxious loud music blaring non stop completely spoiled atmosphere. Because of late check in could not do tasting I booked (no great loss I think). Went to pool and it was overcrowded by group of women who were not staying at the guesthouse. Tried to do tasting later but it was way too loud in tasting room. Next morning went to breakfast half an hour before the end of breakfast hours. Just burnt scraps of egg left and shards of salty ham. Asked for fried eggs which arrived broken bread was terrible lots of cakes and pastries and coffee was disgusting. When I checked out was told that the woman who checked me in offered me another room. A lie. The place was sold out. They refused to do anything to make up for the horrible experience because I had booked and paid through Expedia. Avoid this place. "

"Stunning boutique hotel surrounded by vines, and with a beautiful view of the Andes from the patios and even when lying in bed. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking is easy, WiFi works perfectly and the restaurant is lovely, with included breakfast. Highly recommended for exploring the local region and wine tasting around Mendoza and Uco Valley. A car would be necessary, because it's quite isolated, but that adds to the charm. "

"Hotel De Cielo is a wonderful property. At the foot of the Andes mountains it offers amazing views, My wife and I booked it because we were heading into the mountains the following day. We, however, were completely unprepared. We didn't have any food for the night because we had counted on finding something nearby. When we got to Hotel de Cielo we found that their kitchen was closed for lunch (their regularly scheduled day off). The staff quickly jumped into action and prepared us a meal and gave us a bottle of wine. It was awesome. Our accommodation was beautiful. The night sky was beautiful and we met several world travelers like ourselves and we had an interesting conversation around dinner. Exceptional place and people."
