There was nothing not to like, such a beautiful place, staff amazing, food amazing. When we return to Tasmania we will be staying there the entire time rather than 7 nights in different places. Peacefull, serene so much beauty with the lake and mountains. Thank you all so much, truly memorable. We will be seeing you again

The room was small, and had no luggage racks not very convenient. Our lake view room walking pass others, look to be smaller, not sure if that was because we booked via Expedia. The staff were polite but lack service skills.

Room was clean, and had everything you need. Nice walking trail at the lake. Downside of the property: no wifi connection where the rooms are, signal was not strong enough. For foreigners who are dependent on wifi connection this was a downer You have to stay at the Restaurant area to be connected. TV in the room was not working as it couldn't connect to wifi

If you like experiencing a stay in a mining camp, this is it. Once it was used by workers at a nearby hydro project but today the name Tullah Lakeside Lodge sounds more interesting than it really is. It is nothing to get excited about, located on the edge of the lake but the best offering is a large dining area with bar and games room. The rooms were very basic and tired, a throwback to last century unfortunately. Our family traveled during school holidays and only stayed because everything else around Cradle Mountain was booked out, even after getting in about 6 months in advance.

Property is old and dated. Only certain rooms have a view of the lake our room looked into other rooms. Reminded us of the lodge from Dirty Dancing. Happy hour at the bar was good value, staff very friendly, view was nice too.

Have stayed here several times now , as usual the staff are always friendly. great meals ,very clean rooms cozy and warm The large fire in the dining are is excellent,,love the innes distillery products. really nice location.

Location location when it comes to taking a pause whilst doing the Western Explorer. Rooms are very tidy and bedding comfortable. Staff a little reserved but this may be to do with the teams of mining crews that also use it as a base. You might be exposed to some colourful behaviour.
