"Read a lot of mixed reviews about this hotel but we wanted a hotel with good access to Pompei without the price tag. The staff didn't speak English but I personally dont expect this of a hotel abroad. The staff were accommodating and with the help of google translate we had a great stay. "Unfortunately this hotel was not for us. When we arrived we had to enter through an underground garage. The rooms were dated and we had ants in the bathroom. There are two sides to this hotel the wedding and party venue which looks very nice ...and the annex that we were put in. We moved the next morning. The hotel were understanding as we were meant to be there for a week, Expedia were excellent mediators."

"We had just come off a Rick Steves tour of Venice, Florence and Rome and took an express train south to Naples and treated ourselves to a seaview deluxe room at the Royal Continental and the view was fabulous, the room comfy and clean and the staff gracious and accomodating. There is a busy waterfront promenade but take a room at least 3 stories above and it wont be too noisy and once you close the balcony doors it is quiet. Love this treat of a hotel! So many trattorias, cafes and ristorantes around N the breakfast buffet with waterview all glass wall seating is to die for!"
