Claire is an amazing host. The home is clean and stocked with seasonings and a car windshield shade, toilet paper and paper towels, and shampoo and conditioner. The pools were perfect after a morning of hiking, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. We were about 50 minutes from east Saguaro NP and Coronado National Forest and 20 minutes from west Saguaro - perfect for hitting all three. Plenty of space in the bedrooms and the common space gave us room to spread out and still be together.

Great location three bedroom house. He also got access to two different gyms for working out taking saunas and swimming in the heated pool. Recommended for people that need three bedrooms and like the Starpass area.

LOVED-LOVED-LOVED this property. Claire was available to answer any questions we had. The property was clean, and in a perfect location. Near great hiking trails, and then you can go and relax up at the JW's lazy river. We plan to book this property again.

If you enjoy golf and comfort, this house is perfect. Right next to Starr Pass and close to Sewailo Golf Club, the drive back to the house after golf was easy and the comforts inside the house made for a Great family golf outing.

Lovely home, beautiful location.
The condo was a perfect place and location for our stay in Tucson. It is in the Starr Pass development, close to the JW Marriott which has a spa, restaurants, pools and other amenities. Downtown Tucson is minutes away, with proximity to the U of Arizona, shopping and restaurants. The condo features 3 bedrooms, with sleeping arrangements for couples, singles, and/or children. Two comfortable bathrooms, a large kitchen/dining area, with access to the outdoor patio with nice views of the valley below. The condo had everything we needed, for preparing meals, and relaxing on the patio or watching games on TV. Plenty of towels in each of the bathrooms. The neighborhood was quiet and inviting, and we could go for walks in the early morning or late afternoon right from the front door. Spacious parking outside the condo. Our host responded to questions via the message service and booking, payments and access to the home was a breeze. Thank you!

Family of four...plus locals
My husband and I, along with our 3.5 and 1.5 year olds, completely enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable, perfectly-located home. The big, well-equipped kitchen made it easy to invite our local family over to cook and eat dinner. Since the long weekend was full of record-breaking 115+ degree heat, the access to Starr Pass was incredible. We spent hours at the resort, which is a super quick and easy drive up the hill with a lazy river, water slide, splash pad, large pools and convenient food options. The three bedroom home was perfect for our family - comfortable master bedroom, low trundle bed for my three-year-old, and we closed the murphey bed up in the third room so we could use our pack and play and fun little room for the boys. The owner made booking, arrival and departure so easy and even was so kind when we had to let her know that our boys broke a lamp. A quick minor deduction from the damage security fee and no big deal! This home was great.

Beware of renting this property!
Our stay began with anticipation of a perfect place for our family visiting from Michigan and Utah. I had stopped by before our reserved weekend and felt good about the property meeting the needs of our family, 5 in their sixties and one nearing age 89. While the condo was appealing in location and floor plan, we encountered problems from the outset: • Could not access entry and had to call the property manager. • 3 coffee mugs for 6 adults staying at the condo. • Dirty glasses in the cupboard which required washing before use. • Floors which were filthy and blackened socks or bare feet when walking through the house. There were also large “dust bunnies” under the bed in the master bedroom. The last item was reported to the owner and property manager when divulged to us by our family, we being the local renters for our out-of-state guests. There were apologies from the owner but no offer to remedy the situation. Our guests had to wear shoes throughout their stay. Concern that the damage deposit might be withheld was brought up to the owner due to tracking of dirt into carpeted areas, and she reassured us we had nothing to worry about. • The “key” to allow us access to the pool at the nearby resort did not work. The owner later informed us that this sometimes happened, but obviously had not ensured we would be able to have access to the pool area as promised. At the end of our stay, everything was left in as good a condition or better than when our family arrived. After waiting 10 days after checkout, I emailed the owner about the refund of our damage deposit, due back to us after 7 days. On the 11th day, the owner email back that she was withholding our entire damage deposit due to smoke damage throughout the house. The owner, in an email to me, indicated she could not determine who was responsible but was holding us responsible. While I admitted there had been one brief incident of smoking completely outside the house, with doors closed, this was not the cause of interior damage as the owner accused. There were also remnants of others smoking on the patio prior to our stay. In the 10 days after our stay, we have no idea who, if anyone, caused any smoke damage. Bottom line is, we are out our damage deposit with no recourse except small claims court. We were charged with responsibility for actions we did not commit and were not informed of. VRBO has been apprised of this situation and has not responded.
