Wonderful week in quiet neighborhood with great access to trails. House was perfect for our family, well stocked with cleaning supplies, making it a great place to have a unique Thanksgiving celebration. Thank you!
Communication with owner pre check-in, during check-in and throughout the stay was excellent. Sunrises beautiful from the large backyard that was always busy with animal activity. Property came as advertised. The close proximity to I-10 and I-19 made it easy to get to multiple golf courses during the week.
Spot was great. House very nicely stocked and beds comfortable. I'm officially old now, as I really enjoyed sitting on the back patio listening to and identifying all the birds. Greatly enjoyed abilities to walk and explore trails from house. Donovan was super responsive and helpful.
Quiet, close to town, beautiful nature and lots of wildlife right out the back door. Wonderful neighborhood for walking. We saw deer, coyotes, javalinas, rabbits, quail, roadrunners and 12 different song bird and woodpecker species, all while sitting at the pool, coffee in hand, watching astounding sunrises multiple days in a row over a beautiful Sanora Desert arroyo and hillside just feet away. The kitchen appointments were sparse as were the furnishings and the cleaning, but all in all we had a wonderful and carefree time. Would love to come back.
We came to this property by stumbling upon it on VRBO. We had been on a hotel/motel road trip from Minnesota to Southern Arizona and out to Joshua Tree National Park, down to the Salton Sea area and returning to Tucson. We wanted to get out of the “room” stay and have a place to spread out and relax. We found this home to be just about perfect. Sitting on the edge of the desert we had choirs of coyotes serenading us in the early evening, countless birds and a quiet neighborhood. There was some jet traffic from Tucson but nothing to take away from the visual feast. The house was in very good shape with many upgrades in appliances and decor. The owner was very prompt when contacted with questions. The kitchen had great knives and cookware. Very nice. The swimming pool was very clean but unheated. Even being from Minnesota it was too cold for us to use. We would have paid extra to have it heated but it wasn’t an option.
The housekeeping was a little short of great but it was mostly the window cleaning and having to look through wipe marks. The floors could have been damp mopped instead of the apparent Swiffer treatment. Overall….we’d not hesitate to stay there again in the future.
We spent a week on vacation in Tucson. The house's location was perfect—just outside the city but close enough to make everything convenient. The house was spotless and had modern appliances. My wife and I enjoyed the very quiet nights sitting outside looking at the stars. The host was available and very responsive. We could not have asked for anything more.
Awesome place to rent to see family living in the area. I had quiet morning coffee by the pool.
We heard saw and heard wildlife in the private backyard. Very relaxing place. Very clean and offered great bathroom amenities. We definitely will come back. Trails starting at the end of the street for Tucson Park.
This three bedroom, two bath home, with an attached garage is located near the end of a dead-end road. The home backs out to open space with views of cactus, birds, and other wildlife. A very quiet, serene, location. Only the occasional sight and muffled noise of an airplane heading to or from Tucson airport. The sunrise and sunsets were spectacular. There is an unheated pool that we used most nights. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for our five-night stay. A great find, we would definitely stay again.
Super convenient to the Convention Center and downtown Tucson and interstate access. Fully appointed and the pool was cool and refreshing on the VERY hot Tucson days!
The house is in an older neighborhood. It was quite and the house had lots of nice upgrades throughout. There is some room for improvement, the vertical blinds kept falling off the rail clips, the bathroom towels are worn and some areas needed to be cleaned better(kitchen range hood) The owner, Donovan, was very responsive. He addressed my concerns. He answered all my questions, which were a lot, this was our first stay in a vrbo. The pool is a nice size and clean. There is everything you need here for a hassle free vacation or staycation.
