"Nice quiet place with lovely scenery and very comfortable rooms and large beds. The pool was a decent size, but the hot tub was not warm when we visited. Helpful staff as there are limiited dining options, so be prepared to drive somewhere to eat. Not easy to spot the entrance to the hotel. It is accessible via the double wooden door and an intercom as seen from google street view of the address. Would recommend for couples. "

"Great hotel in a fantastic location with wonderful views of the valley and griffon vultures circling above the cliffs opposite. No restaurant meals on Wednesday as the chef has a day off but the bar menu was a fine alternative. It's a bit tricky to reach the hotel as the village's roads a very narrow and steep but it's not a problem with a little care."

"Our room overlooked a noisy busy main road and there was a railway line behind the hotel. There was no air conditioning in our room. We were told the bar would not open until 8.30. We couldn't book a table in the restaurant because a coach party was booked in but if there was room they would try to fit us in. There were no alternatives within walking distance. The photos of the hotel are very misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been photo-shopped!"

"We loved this place... I just wish they provided good directions on how to get there! Between addresses being in Euskara and roads not well identified we had a hard time following the GPS as it kept wanting us to go into a private road that lead no where other than a house. Once we arrived, there was nobody there. We found a nice couple down the street who knew the person in charge and contacted him for us, he then proceeded to give us the code to get into the house. A sign said that...

"Lovely greeting by receptionist on our arrival, room had super comfy beds air con slow on fast setting but room was a comfortable temp. Shower over bath lovely and warm, small bathroom which was clean and all we needed for an overnight stop before the ferry."
