"We stayed in this house for 6 days and I can say that the experience was not what we've expected. When we checked in we did not get a room that we've originally booked. In our six day stay nobody bothered to clean the room, change towels or bring toilet paper, we had to ask for it or wonder in the middle of the night around the house and try to find it ourself. "Very friendly staff and the owner , Cheryl , was very nice and accommodating. The place is lovely. We lived in the upper floor and had the veranda and ‘sky bar’ for ourselves! They had made a mistake and checked someone in under my name already when I arrived, and then instead of explaining the situation and asking my friends and I to please wait while they sorted it out, they literally ran away without telling us anything and we had to wait for 45 minutes while they worked on it. "I had a ground floor room right by the street and parking lot. I was there for 2 weeks and I wanted to switch rooms but was told that I couldn't. I had trouble getting clean towels and had to wait 2 days for toilet paper. This was one of my worst experiences in the Philippines. Breakfast was over at 8 am so you have to get up early after listening to dogs barking all night, noise from traffic and of course several roosters. Not a pleasant stay. "

"This stay was lovely, with aircon in all rooms, and short drive to nice beaches. There are a few things however that the description lied about. The villa is a 15 minute drive to Alona beach, not a 10 minute walk. The only beach within walking distance is the docking area for boats, and is dirty in general. Also, they charge 300pesos per 12 hours of use for the washing machine, so keep in mind that it is not included. For the cost of the house however our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable....
