"First time staying back here in a good few years. Hotel is as nice as ever, well maintained. The area around the hotel has been significantly build up since I was last here, but very safe. There is a convenience store very close by. Breakfast in the hotel was very good an dour room was excellent. We stayed in one of the suites adjacent to the hotel. "We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed interacting with Margaret. She was very polite and attentive. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend this location. Its just a quick drive to the local shops, there is an amazing park with a castle in Portumna, and we were able to visit neighboring towns with ease. I was very impressed with the information Margaret provided. She was kind enough to print out a packet that contains everything you need to know during your stay....

"Just 50km from Galway and in the countryside, this home was a wonderful base for explorations from Connemara down to Limerick. We could have fared further but for lack of time. The home is quite charming, Brid gave us excellent recommendations for nearby eateries and had stocked the home with information useful to tourists. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is considering a visit while the home is available. "
