"The hotel appears quite new and clean and provides a delightful experience. You have the option to select your own yukata to wear within the hotel and bring along the towel basket to the onsen. Throughout the night, they offer a variety of complimentary drinks and snacks such as mochi, noodles, popsicles, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. And free Yakult in the morning. You won’t be bored after Shirakawago goes dark at night."

"The owners of the ryokan were very accommodating, kind & helpful. The room is big & adequate. Excellent breakfast. The only minus is that there is limited transpo to the inn. And there are no stores or restaurants near the inn. So you need to eat dinner in another village or bring food home."
