The property is reverse level so bedrooms are on the ground floor allowing spectacular views from upstairs. In the living room bi-fold doors open to a Juliet balcony to take advantage of the elevated position, views and sunsets. The open plan living area gives a spacious light feeling, fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops and breakfast bar as well as dining area for up to 6 guests. The kitchen has a built in double oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker and all other utensils and items for your stay. There is a utility room on the first floor. The living room has a wood burner and smart TV with separate DVD player. Both the dining and garden table have space for up to 6. The garden is to the front of the house, mainly lawn and hedging with outside furniture. Parking for 1 car and some street parking. Short breaks welcome outside high season and some periods with NHS discount. One small dog is welcome, extra charge. We also have superfast broadband and WiFi and linen is included. Towels included. There is opportunity to hire canoes or stand-up paddle boards & kayaks on the river.
Situated just a few minute’s walk from the water’s edge and the beautiful and historic 13th Century St Just in Roseland Church. There is an amazing café/tea room in the village, a boat yard (launching and mooring) and you can walk beside the estuary (hidden beaches) to St Mawes Castle and on to the historic fishing village. Here you will find boutique shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes around the harbour and even a botanical garden. Take a passenger ferry to Falmouth and pleasure boat cruises to Mylor and Flushing. The King Harry vehicle ferry will take you to Falmouth and Truro with lots to see and do, passing Trellisick National Trust house and gardens. Nearby beaches include Portscatho, Towans, Carne & Pendower Beach is arguably the best beach on the Roseland Peninsula. A mile of mostly sandy beach with one end near Rosevine and the other near Veryan. Attractions such as Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trebah are within easy reach by car.
