*Tahoe is a beautiful and fun place to visit, but occasionally this area can be affected by extreme weather events. While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Moon Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.
HOT TUB-HOA-FREE SHUTTLE-NORTHSTAR-DOG FRIENDLY
This property is available for a ski lease or a long term rental for $6750/month plus utilities. No leases will be allowed to continue past May 15, 2021. Ski Leases are available for a December 1st start for 5 months or January 4th start for 4 months. As the preference for the homeowner is to long term the property if they do ski lease there will be no refunds if any of the mountains does not open or close early due to the pandemic.
Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.
Northstar on the Course gives you the perfect blend of feeling like you are at a country club mixed with the essential Tahoe mountain getaway! This 4-bedroom house overlooks the golf course and is equipped with front and back decks, an entertainment/game room, fitness room, and a hot tub, you'll have everything you need at your fingertips in and outside this house! The main level begins with the living area, the family room, and remodeled kitchen after being greeted by a grand tree in the entrance way. The rec room is just a few steps up from the living room with a pool table and video games. Downstairs there are four bedrooms with 2 master bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Also on that floor is the ever sought after fitness room, where you can still go to the gym from your own rental, then you can relax after skiing or a hard workout in the attached hot tub on the lower deck. The upper deck is equipped with A BBQ and outdoor seating area, in addition to the dinning room on the main level.
This Northstar rental is located in the Northstar California Resort, and the best part is that this home comes with free shuttle service to the ski lifts, Village, and Recreation Center. Just give them a call and be picked up in minutes at your driveway. This property offers access to the Northstar Recreation Center. The Recreation Center provides a year-round heated adult lap pool, several outdoor Jazuzzi's, a well-equipped expansive workout room, a game room with pool tables, air hockey, video games and much more. In the summer, guests will also enjoy the Junior Olympic size swimming pool, kiddie pool, kid's camp, play area, basketball court and the Snack Shack.
Winter activities at Northstar Resort include the new Lookout Mountain offering acres of new terrain for skiers and snowboarders including a Terrain Park and Super Pipe. There is a cross-country center, snow tubing park, ice skating rink, restaurants, bars, retail shops, equipment rental shops, licensed daycare, and a movie theater. Summer activities include a champion 18-hole golf course and golf pro, tennis courts, tennis pro available for lessons, rolling skating rink, mountain bike trails including chair lift to take you to the top and equestrian center with great trails for horseback riding.

This is a dog-friendly house but in order to bring a dog, you must pay a $100 dog fee per dog, 2 dog maximum. If you bring a dog without paying the dog fee, you will be subject to a fine and are in breach of contract which could result in being asked to leave the property.
Additional Fees include cleaning fee, administration fee, and local Transient Occupancy Tax. Check out time is 10 AM.
The HOA does require a $10/per person fee to use the facilities (subject to change).
POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2.As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3.By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID, is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation and transportation services.
