"Le Royal was absolute perfection for our stay in Nice! We enjoyed our terrace and being on the Promenade. The room was large and comfortable, as well as the bath. Aline @ front desk was exceptional, even getting us a fan for the room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Nice. It was beautiful, quiet, very comfortable, and a wonderful location. "The location is fantastic - right on the edge of the old town and walking distance of the train and tram stations. Fantastic for seeing everything you would want to see in Nice. Interesting rooms in two levels - with the bathroom and small living room on the lower floor and bed on the upper floor via a staircase. It could do with a small sofa on the lower floor, as it seemed slightly wasted space, even through there was a TV there. Door to a balcony - although be aware that the hotel front is on a Main Street, the side is on a cut through with restaurant downstairs, and the back is on a busy street to the old town - so opening the window lets the noise in. Brekfast is 20 euro per person - don’t waste your money as there are plenty of places near by where you can get food and coffe for 10 euro a head. Fantastic hotel though and the location can’t be faulted. Staff were friendly. "

"Amazing hotel. It is right in the Premenade des Anglais. Everything is walking distance from this hotel. Literally next door is the famous Negresco hotel on left and Westminster on right. Negresco is under remodeling right now. "
