"This was a quaint, lovely place to stay. 2 BR and 2 Baths. Loved that the woods was behind it and view thru window was peaceful. Stayed on a Friday and Saturday so was able to walk across street to the Tahquamenon Lodge and buy a yummy breakfast at very good price. They serve Sat and Sunday mornings. There is also a bar across street that serves burgers, etc. So very convenient. Had a problem with bathroom light but called and got a call back quickly. It was fixed immediately. "This property is such a gem! We've stayed in many cabins similar to Carrie's before and this blew the others out of the water! Rustic but modern enough to where you felt at home. There were 2 large box fans provided so we didn't need the one that we had brought and there was a small tv to help the kids wind down and relax at night. "The cabin is exactly as described on VRBO. We had a little difficulty with the lockbox (probably because both my husband and I have arthritis in our hands). The lake is beautiful and peaceful.
