"This is a fantastic place to stop for the night, or even for longer. Set in the middle of beautiful countryside, it felt like an escape from the rest of the world. "This is a beautiful country house with large, airy and elegant rooms. My welcome, late at night, was very friendly and helpful, the room was large with very high ceilings and well appointed, and the bed was extremely comfortable. "The grounds are amazing - so much space, lots of chairs, great outside dining area and a fantastic pool! The kitchen is small but fully equipped. Beds are comfy (except plastic mattress protectors). For us the room layout was an issue. The two twin beds are actally family rooms with double beds in, not separate as it looks like in the listing photos, which are very misleading. This was frustrating for us as we had to have three children in our room - we had booked here to avoid that happening....
