"What can I say, i do not usually write reviews but i had to for this one, i booked a really expensive 5* hotel in Mauritius using the Hotel.com app and our experience was so bad we was left stranded at the middle of the night. Luckily this hotel was free and taken us in, now i was on my honeymoon and it was a disaster from the start but the manager at this property was a ray of sunshine. "The unique thing about this property is that Gert and Marlene treat everyone as individuals and you soon feel part of the family. They have really taken on board the Mauritian way and that translates into a really relaxed vibe. Wonderful food and a great night's sleep! "We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. It did however need a little minor maintenance/tweaking which we were assured was in the pipeline....not in time for our stay unfortunately, but will make it better for the next guests. It didn't hamper our stay. It has access to a private beach, which is beautiful or you can enjoy the pool, looking out onto the beach. We would stay here again. Thank you. "

"The Hotel had been renovated a couple of weeks ago, so everything is OK in the room and all the staff is abdolutely adorable and available. A 6th star should be awarded to the whokr team.
