"A good night staying here just before Christmas. Restaurant was outstanding. Bar area could do with attention to Ambience….it was very lacking…the only comfortable armchairs were taken all evening so the only option for a drink was either the very unromantic stools….or the massive soulless bar room with bright lights and not much else….no fire no nothing. We stayed in the room instead of the bar for this reason."
