"On arrival it took almost an hour to check in, when I asked why it was taking so long I was informed that the room I booked was not available. i was finally given a room but although I was told it was like for like, it was not in the main hotel and was quite far from the restaurants and entertainment area. "Staff were friendly, room was clean and bright, good air con, no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. Lovely gardens, lots of birds/chickens, good selection of food, but breakfast lacked "hot" food, bacon and sausages regularly cold. Nice freshly cooked omelettes. Lack of english spoken and menu translations, thank goodness for google translate. Rooms were serviced every day and there was an option for fresh towels and sheets if required. The access road is very poor and regularly floods...

Bigger grocery store was about 20 minutes away. only 15 minutes to Deshae (where they filmed Death in Paradise). We had a great time."
