It is about a 15-minute walk from the house to the centre of the island. A car is not necessary on the island and there is no petrol station. In the centre you can find a lovely bakery, two restaurants, some cafés, a post office and a little shopping market, where you can buy only basic groceries, including fruit and vegetables. It is recommended to buy meat and other food in Trogir and bring with. This is mountain/hill teritory and not suitable for old, disable or people with health or walking problems.
The island is connected to the historical town of Trogir by ferry, with crossings four times a day (taking 40 minutes), taking you to the places of interest on the mainland.
