"We thourougly enjoyed our stay La Pirogue Mauritius. The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The beach in front was amazing. Open buffet offered a selection of local and international dishes, and were freshly prepared and tasty. Overall, if we ever go back to Mauritius, staying here again has a high possibility. "A little disorganised at check in. Reception staff insisted I present them with a voucher before they would give us access to the room. I had no voucher (is this the 1990s???) and would not accept that a booking in my name would in fact be my reservation!! Not ideal after a 12 hour flight from London. 90 minutes completely wasted and frustrating to say the least. However, that was the only issue with the hotel. "We loved every second of our stay here. We were upgraded to a beachfront frangipani room which was great. 4 different restaurants - all with fantastic food (Saffran was probably our fave). We had no issue getting reservations. The all included watersports (inc motorised) were amazing. The staff were all fabulous- they couldn’t do enough to help you.
