"I loved the convenience of buying snacks and the cute little post cards for sale. I also thought the staff were very kind, courteous and polite! The rooms were clean and spacious! "Very nice drive up to your room motel in Raton, NM. Has been here since late 1940’s but everything was exceptionally clean with some updates. Didn’t need anything more. Host was very friendly and made restaurant recommendations and which ones to avoid. Wife liked the towels, me too, and comfortable bed and pillows. Coffee in the office was welcome in the morning. "

"The staff was great, but the property is a bit old and needs a good remodeling, the light in the restroom wasn't working, and it wasn't the bulb that was bad, it was some kind of issue with the switch or wiring itself, the room had carpet floor but fills like there is tile floor under the carpet. Otherwise it was clean with no strange odors. for the price and a single night, it was good."
