Welcome to the Hideaway House, a lovely lakefront cottage on secluded cove including fun amenities like hot tub, firepit, RV hookups, kayaks and paddleboard, outdoor kitchen, and more. 2 bedrooms, sleeps 6, newly remodeled, water access.
Get away from it all in this lovely lakefront cottage perfect for families or small groups. This house is located on a secluded cove and boasts three levels of decks, each with something to offer. Watch movies from the hot tub on the outdoor pull-down projector or grill your dinner and dine outside under the custom pergola. This deck also features an outdoor sink, stone countertops, and a mini fridge. Roast marshmallows or enjoy drinks by the firepit on the middle deck—you’ll find ready-made smores kits in the kitchen! Savor your morning coffee or evening cocktails on the lowest deck right over the water, or open the umbrellas and lounge with a blender of margaritas in the afternoon! This deck includes a power supply so you don’t even have to go back inside.
Indoors, you’ll find a newly renovated space with a king bedroom and queen bedroom as well as a complimentary queen-size airbed available to sleep two more. Enjoy a cozy fire on chilly nights in the wood-burning fireplace (wood provided), snuggle up with a good book, or enjoy a family game night at the dining table. There’s high-speed wifi throughout. Living room boasts a 65 inch smart TV and king bedroom has its own mounted smart TV as well. All towels, cotton sheets, bedding, spare blankets, closets with hangers, bathroom toiletries, and amenities are available so you can truly unwind worry-free.
Kitchen is stocked with spices, oil, and vinegar, as well as full dinnerware and flatware sets, pans and skillets for cooking, knife set, cutting boards, and everything else you could need to prepare a delicious meal. You’ll also find a Ninja blender, full coffee station with drip pot and K-cup compatibility, pitchers for iced tea or lemonade, and a kettle for easy hot tea or cocoa before bed.
Fish or swim right off the lower deck or shoreline. Or, for a little more adventure, have a blast exploring the cove or paddle out to open water on three kayaks located under the middle deck for your use—one is child-size—as well as a paddle board. Borrow life jackets from the deck box and store kayaks overnight on the floating jet dock included on the property’s waterfront. This is also a great place to bring your very own jet ski for overnight storage. Plenty of space in front of the house for boat trailer parking and you can tie off your boat to the lowest deck on the water. The front of the home also includes RV hookup—sewer and electric—so more family and friends can join in the fun!
