All the activities listed previously were more about Dublin than Trim. From Trim we visited the the archaeological sites and the Norman castle. This is a great place to stay.

"Hotel and service was great, we had dinner in the restaurant which was nice and had flavour but for what it cost the size was disappointing, the starter was small and the steak came with exactly 6 chips."

Trim - a great little town to relax in, and wind down from a busy vacation. Enjoyed the pub across the street from Brogan's, good traditional Irish music. Brogan's has a lovely pub and restaurant, with great food, at good prices. Friendly people.

The village was lovely and the castle fadcinating. We used the same tXi company one evening. The charge going was 18 euro, whete the return trip at midnight was 6 euro. Felt like a ripoff factor was in play! Also the hotel is in a housing estate.
