The breakfast is one of the best I have encountered, a massive buffet selection in a beautiful room overlooking the city. I love the roof pool and spa area to relax in. There is also another pool indoors with a sauna and spa facilities. An underground car park topped off my stay. "

"A very nice hotel, well maintained and located for walking to many of Trier’s attractions. The staff were friendly, parking was easy, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable, though we had to leave a window open overnight in early April or the room would have been too warm and there didn’t seem to be a way of controlling the temperature. "We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."
