"Had a few issues due to booking via Hotels.com, but the owners and staff at the property were great. The suite we had was massive, with 2 bath/shower rooms, and both had great views. There was a well equipped kitchen available if you wanted to self-cater. Free parking on site, and only a short walk to the beautiful town of Traben-Trabach. Only a short stay this time, but I hope to return for a week next year, to take advantage of the hiking, cycling and wine in the area. Many thanks to Niels...

"Sehr gut gelegen. Zu Fuß kann man wunderbar den Ort erkunden. Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung. Man ist sehr schnell in Bernkastel-Kues, Traben Trabach, etc. Wir als Hundebesitzer wurden herzlich aufgenommen und man hat schöne Möglichkeiten, mit dem Hund zu laufen. Alles in Allem empfehlenswert."

"Wir haben mit Freunden in Wochenende an der Mosel verbracht und sind auf das Gästehaus Kiebel gestoßen. Es ist ein sehr schönes, uriges Anwesen. Die Zimmer für die Gäste sind sehr modern eingerichtet, hell und sauber. Der Frühstücksraum ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Das Frühstück wurde in Büffetform angerichtet. Dabei blieb eigentlich kein Wunsch offen: Kaffee, Tee, verschiedene Sorten Marmalade, Wurst, Käse, Quark, frisches Obst, Säfte. Auch Allergien wurden berücksichtigt und eine Mitreisende hat,...

"Good property but the XL room has no big kitchen it’s pretty small a d not comfortable to cook there. Everything else is good - but better get a room with a balcony it’s facing the river Moselle and it’s way more quiet than the rooms witch ate facing the road with a kind of heavy traffic "

"We stayed in the house for five days of working in Trier, leaving in the morning and returning at night. The house is very well situated as to closeness to the downtown of Trier, and it is quiet. Everything was well appointed and sparkingly clean."

"Freundliches Personal, angenehme Atmosphäre. Mit der Parkmöglichkeit am Hotel war ich zufrieden. Das einzige Problem war, dass die Karte zum Öffnen der Tür nicht funktionierte, aber sie gaben uns einen Schlüssel und das löste das Problem. Gute Lage des Hotels. In der Nähe des Stadtzentrums und der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. "

Such a lovely stay

"We had a lovely time in this beautiful hotel right in the middle of the old town. Trier is truly special - so many interesting sites and don't miss visiting the Mosel river valley nearby. The hotel staff was very friendly and the restaurant was delicious - we ate dinner there twice and really enjoyed our meals. The room was comfortable and quiet and we had a nice balcony and a view of the cathedral. Overall, would definitely recommend! "
