"This was a fun alternative to a traditional hotel. And we got to see the chickens they have on site! The room was spotless and the staff were very nice. There are two routes to the property if you are walking, one much easier than the other (when you get off the ferry, turn left). The breakfast was good but not as exceptional as we were expecting."

Combine that with food that is grown by themselves, including cheese, wine, meats, and pasta, creates a great experience. The food warms your soul and nourishes your body. "What a wonderful find. Not in the heart of the crazy part of Lake Como but away, hidden and quiet with easy access to the Lake if you need it. The family feel, the food and drink and the pool are absolute highlights. It’s a GREAT place to stay. "

"First, be aware that you need to follow ALL of the signs that say, “Runchee.” Your GPS/Apple Maps/Google maps will NOT take you to the hotel/B&B. Parking is easy. Find the place is not. Breakfast: if your idea of breakfast is bread and butter, coffee and cake, then you’re in business. Don’t expect a real meal. I paid in advance and the lady running the place chased me down to pay for my stay. Mistakes happen."
