"This was an amazing place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this cottage. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, bedding was good quality. It took us a few days to get used to the pillows, as they are very different to pillows used in UK, but this is only a small matter. "We had a great week here in August. Large garden, lots of parking and many beaches within 30 minutes. You can walk into town along the river to get bread in the morning. The staircase to the upper floor begins in the master bedroom; we didn't mind this but some might. The owners live nearby and were very helpful. I would describe the style as shabby chic."

"Brilliant accommodation in a lovely area. Clean and spacious. Plenty to keep the whole family entertained. The pool was quite cool but great for a quick dip. The WiFi was weak or unable to connect, so you need to ensure you have data. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.The games room was a huge hit with the teens!"

"Excellent séjour dans le beau gîte de Anne et Alfred, anciennes écuries rénovées, avec préservation de tout le charme et le cachet du lieu d'origine ! Idéal pour une soirée conviviale au coin du feu et un bon dodo à l'étage ! Et super accueil de Anne, qui se fera une joie de vous partager l'histoire du lieu Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter des 14 hectares servant à la protection des animaux, nous espérons revenir une prochaine fois pour ça! Encore merci pour cette belle parenthèse...

"We had a lovely stay at this traditional old Stone property. The bedrooms were very comfortable but only one toilet upstairs meant going to the loo in the night wasn’t easy. Also the bathrooms only had hand held showers in the baths which wasn’t ideal. The housekeeper that met us was very friendly and helpful and explained everything very clearly. "What a lovely little property - it had all we needed for our stay in St Malo. Ideally situated for 20 minute walk to the old town, the kitchen was very well equipped, the sofa bed was comfortable to sit on downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs were perfectly adequate and the bed was comfortable. It was a nice surprise to be provided with bedding, towels and soap. The only downside for us - as we are both over 60 was the steep staircase (which was clearly pictured) - but we did get used...
