"First of all the welcome was perfect. Nicky met us at Castell de Ferro and guided us through the winding roads to the Villa. The house itself was huge and very well presented. With 5 spacious bedrooms and almost as many bathrooms. The children loved exploring every bit of it. In terms of amenities, the house is very well equipped had everything our family needed. "We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Cortijo Caliz. As a family we love staying in rural Spain and have stayed in many regions and many villas but this has to be the best! The villa itself is spacious, with a bright living area, a well equipped kitchen and huge bedrooms. There were 5 of us most of the time with an additional 2 guests for a couple of nights. We could easily have had more of us without impacting on space. Three bathrooms mean it’s perfect for multiple families staying...

"We loved this sweet little cottage in its own orange grove with ancient olive trees all around... we could have stayed longer! Perfect location from which to explore the superb hiking and beautiful villages further into the Alpujarras while also being less than an hour's drive from Granada and the coast. "This hotel is pristine! Wonderful front staff. Christina offered great suggestions and was very helpful with parking. The neighborhood is perfect with shops and restaurants and so much was an easy walk from the property. The room was huge with a living area and king bed and kitchen with a dishwasher. Double sinks in the bath plus separate tub and shower. There is a rooftop terrace with a seasonal pool. We didn’t want to leave!"
