"Second stay and even better than the first. Lovely staff and rooms. Great location on the dunes, right off Hwy 1. My only complaint is parking for hotel guests. There is public parking with beach access that takes away from guests, which also opens up to non-guests using the fire pits. "

"The location is fantastic and so are the staff. Well maintained lobby and grounds. The rooms are starting to show some general wear, nothing horrible, just typical corners and edges being worn down or dinged. The couch/bed was gross. It was heavily stained in our room. The only other problem was the AC unit. It is to small for the size of the room and not placed well. "Weather was FANTASTIC. Was a VERY peaceful trip. This facility was GREAT, staff was very friendly at all times of the day or night. Coffee 24/7 but no snacks avalable "coming soon". Room had a fridge but no Microwave or coffee in room. Not a BIG deal and they are in some rooms I was told. With or without I would stay here again....the Staff was some of the best people I have meet at any lodging. "

"Loved the garden area with piknic table with a view of the street, there is plenty pr room to walk dogs in designated areas/streets. Location is perfect for visiting monterey zoo and aquarium (20 min away only)"

"This was my second stay here for our annual family Super Bowl Bash. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff is awesome. My room was clean and the bed was comfy. Good shower with plenty of hot water was a plus. I am a serious coffee drinker so the coffee/espresso machine in the lobby was a dream come true. I highly recommend this place if you need a place to stay in the area."

"I did not like the fax that there was no time of operating hours for the washing room someone was washing clothes at 5:30 am the first morning and the next day they started at 4:00 am, both occurrences lasted about 30---45 min's"

"My family (7 adults) stayed at Nathan’s beautiful and comfortable home in Hollister for a family wedding. We booked the home for 4 nights. It was one of the hottest weekends in CA history, but the dual AC units kept us nice and cool.
