Disappointed
The general cleanliness of this property was not good at all, all of the cutlery, dinnerware & cookware needed to be cleaned before use as had very visible dirt on them. The garden was filthy with an old mop bucket & cigarette butts. Not as pictured, much more worn and dirty. Contacted the company about this and they said they would send a cleaner, they never arrived in the 7 days we were there. Broken toilet seat downstairs. Broken leaking gutter at the back of the property, very noisy when raining through the night. Shower upstairs unusable leaked through the spotlights downstairs! Owner apparently sorting this issue. A plumber was sent, he arrived without warning at 8am, but he said it was too big a job to complete whilst we were there. Freezer faulty and so over frozen it was unusable. No dishwasher, even though I asked this prior to booking and I was told there was one. Overall very disappointed. Positives.. nice decor, as pictured. Met some lovely friendly locals.
