Amazing stay
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The house was spotless and such a peaceful place. We loved meeting Mr. Rich, Ginger and Dominique. We would definitely go back!

Farm Guest house
My wife and I rented the guest house from Rich and Tish along with our golden retriever. The house was nicer than expected and the hosts were great to deal with on the trip. I highly recommend renting the guest house if your looking in the area. V Hill

Rich and Tisha are the best! We had fresh homemade turnovers, oj, and all kind of snacks. We really appreciate everything, and hope to visit again soon. We enjoyed the nice walk to the river just to take a breather from working. Thank y'all again for sharing y'all beautiful, welcoming home!

This property is the total package. There’s nothing to improve upon. The inside is modern and immaculate, the outside is panoramic stunning country beauty and that includes a close view of the livestock. The gym and sauna was a huge bonus too! Rich was very nice and welcoming. I recommend anyone staying here get in on purchasing some VERY fresh eggs and beef. I love this place and can’t wait to come back.

Peaceful Retreat
This was our second time staying at Wallace Meadows Farm and we were thrilled to return. You could not ask for a more well-equipped, well-appointed, clean, comfortable and beautiful space. Rich and Tisha are warm, genial hosts who have thought of everything to make your stay as perfect as possible.

Recently went on a mother- daughter trip to visit the New Bern area and stayed here. It was absolutely perfect! Very clean, beautiful surroundings, quiet, and everything (and even more than) we could have anticipated. If I could give it 6 stars, I would.

Grandson Visit
We were able to stay very close to our grandchildren while visiting. We were not traveling back and forth to a hotel taking an hour to make a round trip. This allowed us to visit longer and spend time with family. We appreciated the cleanliness of our unit and the hospitality of our host.

Engagement photo trip
My fiance and I have stayed at many places over the years and this is by far the best. We traveled with my 12 year old dog who absolutely loved the property. The house was spacious and very clean. The extra touches like breakfast food in the fridge and the coffee station made the trip so special. There was even an iron in the closet to help us look nice before our pictures. I can’t reccomend this place enough. The hosts are very kind and came over to say hello.

Very good stay
Really enjoyed our time at the guest house. It was so comfortable we hated to leave. In case you have forgotten something the Wallaces have thought of everything you need. It's fun to wander around the farm and close enough to explore New Bern and Kinston. There is a store in Trenton only about 6 miles away if you need groceries.

Family getaway!
This family getaway was a breath of fresh air, literally! The property is just beautiful, relaxing and intimate! Our 3 yr old loved to be able to just run freely! The farm eggs are amazing too and make for a yummy breakfast! Rich and Tisha are outstanding hosts and made you feel like you were right at home and taken care of! Rich and Tish are great hosts; they are friendly and they make you feel like you are at home at their place. Rich and Tish made suggestions for us to try and we loved them, the suggestions were a welcome bonus because we have never been to their area. The property was clean and everything a person could want on vacation. My husband and I are already planning on coming back. This rental is five stars all the way around.

Short weekend trip
Rich and Tisha offer a very comfortable and well equipped home for their guests. It was “hands-down” the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. Their hospitality and the nice extras they offered were so nice. They treat their guests like family and make sure that everything is taken care of. The property was beautiful, the furnishings were clean and comfortable, and the beds were perfect! They provided breakfast foods and water. Just so very thoughtful! I would highly recommend this property!

Perfect peaceful getaway
This place is fantastic! We didn't want to leave! Spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly want or need, and then some. The pictures do not do it justice. We loved the walking trail, the camp down by the river, the fishing pond, the swing, the horseshoe pit, the upper deck, the views, the animals; everything! We wish we could give it more than 5 stars!

Wonderful treat
We had a great stay at the farm while visiting family in New Bern over Thanksgiving. The cottage is exactly as advertised. It was clean comfortable and well equipped with anything you would ever need...and a bottle of wine . Rich was an excellent host. Thank you and we will be back for sure! The only thing I would add would be a full length mirror

Perfect for the family!
Five stars isn't enough! The property is beautiful and Rich and Tisha are fantastic hosts. The accomodations are 2nd to none. We stayed with our two young boys and they enjoyed every minute. Feeding the cows was a favorite for our youngest. We enjoyed walking around the peaceful property and drinking our morning coffee on the balcony...what a great view! The farm fresh eggs provided for breakfast were delicious. The ground beef available for purchase was fantastic and a must buy for anyone staying here. Already looking forward to our trip next year!

Winter Escape
Our expectations for this property were high based on previous guest reviews. I can honestly say that our expectations were far exceeded. We were not weekend guests as we were guest for a month. The location for us was perfect as we could travel a short distance to Trenton for groceries at Piggly Wiggly, Subway for a quick lunch and finally Aggie's Pizza for one of the best burgers I've ever had. At this location you are about 20 minutes from downtown New Bern with it's fine dining and historic tours. The property was spotless and equiped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the gym was well equipped and my view from the bedroom deck with my morning coffee was beautiful/relaxing. We took short trips to Beaufort, Emerald Isle and visited a Turtle Rescue hospital. We will return for another visit!

Beautiful home with everything you need
We had an amazing time. The space is much bigger than the pictures look. The home is beautiful, clean, and literally everything you could need! The property is gorgeous and my dog loves running free off-leash. (My dog is a city dog and didn't know what to think of all the land). Rich and his wife were amazing and checked on us to make sure we had everything that we needed. Two thumbs up!

Fantastic! We Did Not Want to Leave
Absolutely fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about the experience at the Wallace Meadows Farm guest house. The hospitality is off the charts. My husband and I spent a long New Year's weekend with our fur baby, Rudy. We learned so much about the farm and animals from Rich, and even got to feed the cows! The guest house is comfortable, very clean, very well appointed, and charming. Being greeted by Rich (a top notch host), a bottle of wine, and a bounty of breakfast items was just the beginning of our adventure. We spent our time walking the trails on the property, relaxing on the upper porch overlooking the tranquil farm setting, meeting the farm animals (the bull is a must see), and exploring New Bern. What an absolutely relaxing and fun filled stay. Already rebooked for a return visit! After staying in many different places traveling around the Carolinas, we have never stayed at one (until this one) where we absolutely did not want to leave. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place! See you soon!

Luxury and comfort at an amazing value
A hand written personal note, nice bottle of wine, a book for our grandson and breakfast supplies awaited us in this extremely clean, comfortable and classy two bedroom apartment above a garage. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and had very comfortable beds with cozy bedding. There was even a pink or blue fuzzy blanket to go in the porta crib provided for us. Our group was 5 adults with one baby and all were comfortable. A basket of personal amenities was provided in each bedroom. The kitchen has luxury appliances, top notch cookware and functional but fancy serving ware and cutlery. There’s even a huge washer and dryer and laundry soap provided! The balcony off the master bedroom is a mini oasis for coffee or tea in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. A short walk down a path in the backyard leads to a peaceful bench near a lovely little river. Only down side was the lack of a dining table to play games. Overall though it was an incredibly nice place to stay for the weekend. We all wished we could have stayed longer!
