"This property is in Woolacombe, it’s a basic chalet style bungalow with a double bedroom and a sofa / sofa bed. It’s very quiet and peaceful, I went along with the dog and met up with friends staying nearby. The accommodation is well kitted out. The host was very quick to respond to messages and contacted me so I could get in early..it was a very rainy, cold June day so that was most welcome. "We had a great weeks stay at the Thistledown lodge. The property was very clean and perfect for our arrival. The instructions/directions were clear and made for easy arrival. The lodge was perfect for us and our dog. The lodge had everything we required for a great stay. The hot tub was perfect as well, while the dog enjoyed her time in the garden (which was fully secure for her to roam about freely) The lodges location was a short walk to two great local pubs, which both served great food....

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely lodge albeit a bit tired in places. Peaceful, quiet and comfortable. Hot tub was lovely, warm and smelled clean. Staff very friendly and professional. Only drawback is it's 5 miles from nearest shop so if you forget anything you have a treck to get whatever. Gorgeous meal in restaurant. Would return"
