"We chose this place for the proximity to where we were visiting and for its history. Trust the reviews commenting on the quirkiness and the crazy stairs. The house is really old and it shows in every room from the old closed off fireplaces to the creaky floors and super steep stairs. "The whole barn theme was wonderful, horses out the door and daily visits from the family dog. Loved everything about the place but the stairs going to the washroom. There was no handrail and they were very narrow. My daughter actually fell down them! I had to have someone standby to make me feel safe on them! "
