"This was an amazing place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this cottage. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, bedding was good quality. It took us a few days to get used to the pillows, as they are very different to pillows used in UK, but this is only a small matter. We were brave and used the swimming pool, despite the slightly cool weather. The gardens are huge but unfortunately we were not able to mae the most of all of the space as the weather didn't really favour sitting...

"We booked this property at the last moment for the 2 weeks over Christmas and the New Year, we wanted a place with a garden for our young Boxer puppy and nice beaches close by and could not have found a more ideal property and location. The advert said beach close by and that was the case with the nearest 100 meters away and it is a beautiful beach, other lovely beaches are only a few minutes by car, you will find lovely local shops 2 miles away that sell everything including a very tempting...

"We had a great week here in August. Large garden, lots of parking and many beaches within 30 minutes. You can walk into town along the river to get bread in the morning. The staircase to the upper floor begins in the master bedroom; we didn't mind this but some might. The owners live nearby and were very helpful. I would describe the style as shabby chic."

"Brilliant accommodation in a lovely area. Clean and spacious. Plenty to keep the whole family entertained. The pool was quite cool but great for a quick dip. The WiFi was weak or unable to connect, so you need to ensure you have data. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.The games room was a huge hit with the teens!"

"Very comfortable stay. Very quiet and peaceful yet 5-10 minutes away from city, supermarket, beaches, towns. Many cycling trails nearby. Comfortable beds, huge garden and outside seating areas. A really lovely stay. "

"We had a lovely stay at this traditional old Stone property. The bedrooms were very comfortable but only one toilet upstairs meant going to the loo in the night wasn’t easy. Also the bathrooms only had hand held showers in the baths which wasn’t ideal. The housekeeper that met us was very friendly and helpful and explained everything very clearly. "Lovely property, spacious studio appartment that is well placed for city and port. Had a lovely shower and my daughter appreciated the half bath too. The sofa bed wasnt the most comfortable but as we were only there for one night it was manageable. "

"What a lovely little property - it had all we needed for our stay in St Malo. Ideally situated for 20 minute walk to the old town, the kitchen was very well equipped, the sofa bed was comfortable to sit on downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs were perfectly adequate and the bed was comfortable. It was a nice surprise to be provided with bedding, towels and soap. The only downside for us - as we are both over 60 was the steep staircase (which was clearly pictured) - but we did get used...

Une résidence où le mot HOTE a tout son sens

"Très bon accueil et services demandés en marge su séjour (ex : réservation taxi) petit déjeuner excellent avec un personnel aux petits soins disponibilité et amabilité de rigueur que du bonheur ( par comparaison avec des hôtels près de l'aéroport de Roissy qui bien que de qualité restent impersonnels) propreté et confort au rendez vous "

"I was very happy with this hotel. It is located directly on the waterfront, a short 10min walk away from Intramuros, and a 15min walk from the TGV train station. My room (fourth floor, street side) was small but cozy, with a comfortable bed and a very good shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and they all spoke English for the times when my (very limited) French gave out. Breakfast was excellent. A great selection of bread, including croissants, jams, cold cuts, juices, cereal, and pastries. Additionally, there are freshly-prepared eggs and crepes. The breakfast room doubles as a creperie / tea salon during the day. One very minor issue was that the elevator was out of order during my stay, and my room was on the fourth floor. Not an issue for me, but it might have been a problem for guests with limited mobility. Overall 5/5 rating, would book again in a heartbeat."
