Particularly the lady who served us as breakfast, she was so kind and great to chat to. Great location with beautiful views and easy access to walks in the surrounding area. "I arrived early but was able to access my room straight away. I was initially told that my room still had to be paid for but I had prepaid. This was resolved quickly however. The hotel is conveniently located on a regular bus route and I took the opportunity to visit Blaenau Ffestiniog 20 minutes away. The evening meal was excellent with plenty of choice on the menu. My room was fine and extremely comfortable. Some slight traffic noise as it was at the front of the property."

"Jo Stephen are warm and welcoming, very friendly and attentive. The hotel is perfect for us, warm clean and cosy, a wonderful location, with the most magnificent views of the bay. The sunrise from bed this morning was incredible 💖 many thanks to Jo Stephen for looking after us during our stay, lots of tips on local knowledge. Carparking very convenient too. Lovely stay"

"Nice clean family room, exactly as the pictures showed, perfectly functional room. Nice breakfast, served until 10 , which is nice if you’re a bit lazy in the morning! Great location, bang in the middle of town , 10 mins walk to the castle, and plenty of pubs and restaurants. The bar prices were quite steep (£7.35 a pint!!) but the cocktails were reasonably priced. There’s plenty of options in town. The jewel in the crown for this hotel is the pool area. It’s really wonderful, beautifully tiled, nice and big, we were there during half term and it wasn’t too busy. We really liked library aswell, very cosy with its big setees"
