In Smygehuk you are on the southernmost tip of Sweden, which is an experience in itself. Beddingestrand attracts with a kilometer-long beach and in the city of Trelleborg you can immerse yourself in the history of the Vikings. The settlement of Skateholm is 7000 years old, making it one of the oldest known settlements in Skåne. An exciting exhibition at Trelleborg Museum tells the story of life at Skateholm, and you can also visit some of the graves. At Skateholm there is a built platform overlooking the settlement area and the wetland at Tullstorpsån. Stroll through the old fishing village of Abbekås and explore the hiking area, Bongska Naturmarken.
