"Beautiful property, great breakfast. Our stay was spoilt be being asked by the owner to check out two hours earlier than advertised, ie at 10am, so beware if you are checking out on Sunday. We felt we had no choice but to comply - it should not have been like that. In the rush to vacate our rooms we forgot we had to pay cash, rather than the credit card details given on booking. "Wonderful to experience one of these old farmhouse homes for the first time. Full of charm. Amazing old tiled breakfast room and very generous breakfast. A hiccup with finding the place but this was due to address on this website being wrongly listed by the tourist office as the road name had been changed. Local police most helpful, as was the kind local man who took us to the nearby police station. The Portuguese are wonderful people. The owner of the home was most courteous and spoke good...
