Other Things to Note:
- Pet owners, please be advised on pet policy.
- The exterior property of this home is monitored by Ring Home Security.
- A waiver must be signed in order to access the hot tub.
- Oneida’s Chalet shares a driveway with our neighboring two-bedroom Esch's Chalet. Both cottages have their own private areas, also separated by an 8ft. privacy fence between them, but please be conscious & respectful of other guests & pets when outdoors. You will each have two private parking spots.
- With the great central location by the beach, we are located on a main road. While we're separated by a tall 8ft. privacy fence & trees, at times there will be some traffic noise on the property, more during the busier summer months. Our property offers the only place in Traverse City that you will find nature in the city.

Interaction with Guests:
I’ll always be available via your booking app messenger and happy to help! In the case of an emergency, I’ll be available by phone. You may also see me from time to time taking care of the lawn and other homes on property.

Great Place. You will like it.
Attention to detail, clean, comfortable, excellent location, and good owner communication is how I would describe this rental. The only VERY SMALL negative is that the unit is on a busy road which does create a small amount of road noise. My wife is a very light sleeper and it did not bother her. I very highly recommend this rental. Not only would I stay there again I will stay there again.

Wonderful Winter Trip
We stayed in this cabin during the winter and it was very nice. The cabin, hot tub, and forest backdrop made for a great experience. Owners are nice and responsive. Would stay here again.

We were only able to get away for two nights, but it was worth every minute. There are too many great things to say about our stay, but some highlights included the cleanliness of the overall property and cottage, the convenient location, and the hot tub. Perfect size for a couple and a furbaby
Our stay was very nice nice. Good location, we’ll-kept and clean with a lot of nice touches to make your stay easier and more enjoyable; had dog treats for our furbaby, soap and shampoo, beach towels and small cooler, games, extra blankets, coffee and filters. While it’s off a busy street, the noise isn’t noticeable. Would stay here again.

Perfect weekend getaway
Came up for a long weekend with my husband and dog. We enjoyed the convenience to downtown TC but found ourselves wanting to spend most of our time at the property - it was so cozy and comfortable. Our dog loved the backyard/woods and we enjoyed using the hot tub and fire pit. The place was impeccably clean - definitely recommend!

The chalet is great! It is both aesthetically charming and functional. It is small but since the use of space is well thought out it does not feel cramped. We loved the wrap around deck which felt like an extension of the inside. The hosts attention to detail along with a few special touches were obvious & appreciated.

Sister retreat
Trying to rekindle memories of up north and the TC area in a cabin in the woods with my adult sisters, and this property did not disappoint! Just two beds so for 3 of us two had to share a bed. If traveling as two couples should know each other well or you’re about to with the intimate space. ;) Loved the location, the hot tub. Super clean, cozy, woodsy and convenient!

Perfect TC Getaway!
The cabin is a perfect option for those looking to experience TC but not do a hotel and instead get a hybrid hotel/camping experience. The cabin itself is VERY clean and updated. It was very hot when we went and the AC worked very well to cool the cabin down. There is a wraparound deck with seating and enough room for kids and dogs to run around. There is a nice fire pit with firewood in the backyard, and the house comes with two metal utensils to roast your marshmallows for your s’mores! Would stay here again for sure!

Beautiful and comfortable home
The place is beautiful, newly renovated. The host is responsive and very helpful. He gave me great ideas of activities and local eateries. My only problem was location. The photos made it look more remote than it is. We were looking for a quiet place off the beaten path. If you are looking to be in Traverse City and close to everything than this would he a wonderful choice. If you are looking for quiet inside and out then not so much. That said though the busy road is pervasive outside, but they did a great job at soundproofing the place. Oh and super dog friendly!!

I could not have asked for a better experience. Lauren and Tom were incredibly accommodating, their space was truly a breath of fresh air and so peaceful. We come to tc a few times every year and we were lucky enough to be able to bring our dogs this time. Honestly I can’t say anything negative, just wish we could have stayed longer instead of going back to work! Thank you!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Lauren and Tom’s property for a weekend, and absolutely adored it! The house itself is very clean inside and out. The amenities were great and easily accessible. The property location is close to everything and only 10 minutes from the prettiest beach. My boyfriend’s daughter left a blanket behind unfortunately, but Laura was so kind as to send it back :) Thank you for the amazing stay, we will definitely be back next Cherry Fest!!

Beautiful Updates
The Chalet has just been recently updated and expanded and it is beautiful. Now 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms with a nice open concept upstairs living area. Short walk to the beach at the end of the road. You do have to cross a busy road 4 lanes to get to the walking path to the beach. Bike trail is also super close and goes from Acme all the way to Sutton's Bay (25 miles 1 way). The hot tub on the back porch is a huge plus as well. The chalet is super clean and though we do not have an electric car, the parking spots have electric car chargers which would be very convenient for someone who does have that type of car! Overall great place to stay!

The property itself was lovely. It was decorated quite nicely and very clean when we arrived. We enjoyed the back deck and fire pit as well. The only thing I would caution if you are looking to rent this property is that it is on 3 Mile Road which is extremely busy and noisy. The only other small thing is there is nowhere to unpack and place your clothes. No dresser or even night stand. There are hangers left for you to use in the small bedroom but it's hard to maneuver around them nightly when going to bed. Overall though we were completely happy with the Chalet.

Amazing, Well Supplied and Cozy Home
This was the best rental home I've ever booked. The house was cozy, very clean, and fully stocked with so many extras. The property owners were super friendly and communicated very well the entire process. The website was super intuitive and informative giving us clear directions and information about the home, the tv, the wifi, pet policy, arrival and exit information as well as information about anything you could want to know about local events and restaurants. The home was very well insulated that kept us warm without having to crank up the heat. The beds were very comfortable and there were more than enough pillows and blankets. Tons of towels, bath and cleaning supplies. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies, pots, pans, seasonings, utensils, paper towels, coffee, and so much more. There were even pet treats for our dog who came with us last minute. Overall this was three easiest review, a solid 5 stars, that I've ever given. We would certainly book this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Traverse city.

The perfect spot
This property was SPOTLESS when we arrived, and trust me I'm a traveler that looks under things to check for hidden filth. Happy to say there was none! The location was great, the neighborhood was perfect for us, and it looked just like the pictures. If I was to run away to a new life I would want a little apartment like this one. Just a warning though, the bed is very firm. However, if that is the only thing I can think of as a downfall then I consider that a success!
