Located only steps from the hard sand bottom of Lake Leelanau is this remodeled home for your family vacation. The property has a patio overlooking the lake, a covered deck to sip a drink on and all new appliances for your kitchen needs.

This three bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house will satisfy a families needs inside and out. This home boasts 1900 square feet of living area including a huge 25' x 15' living room and a nice sitting area full of windows overlooking the lake. Outside the home are two different sitting areas, a covered porch overlooking the lake and a brick patio to sit on and eat at the picnic table. Further towards the lake is a fire pit to enjoy in the evening.

This house is located on a secluded private drive and makes for the perfect family get away. Please make note that this home is not just a rental home, but our home in our neighborhood. We have respect for our neighbors and insist on anyone staying here follows those rules as well.

My friends and I loved this house and was well stocked with everything we needed! The location was great and is only a short drive to Traverse City. It was spacious and the view is incredible. I would highly recommend this place!

Our family enjoyed this lakehouse
This is a very nice, spacious, very well equipped house, with a beautiful yard right on Lake Leelanau. There is a beautiful shade tree in the yard which makes it very comfortable to sit out by the lake any time of day. The one day it was extremely hot outside, the air conditioning was perfect inside. The host even provided a welcome note and a basket with some surprises in it... very kind and thoughtful! My mom is elderly and we did have to buy a bathmat for the tub so she wouldn't slip. She also had a little trouble with the stairs down into the lake to swim, but did OK. This is a beautiful house with spacious kitchen, dining area, and two living/family rooms to lounge in, The bedrooms are small, just enough room for the bed, and a bed stand. This wasn't a huge problem since we were not in the bedrooms except to sleep. The lake water was warm and great for swimming. There is some algae on the sandy floor and some weeds floating around but still great. Because of the location on the south end of the lake, we saw both the sunrises and the sunsets which were beautiful. I highly recommend this lakehouse for a family vacation. The hosts are kind and responsive and you'll enjoy the place immensely!

Great week at the lake
Excellent location right on the lake, clean and comfortable, everything you need to relax, cook, and explore the area. Great yard and deck to relax on, shallow and sand bottom swimming, and nice dock if you bring a boat. Super quiet and chill area. We had a great time grilling and using the fire pit. Spacious kitchen and living areas. New kitchen appliances too! Lance and Jody were quick to respond and helpful hosts. Very highly recommend and we will be back for sure!

Wonderful house- just as shown on VRBO. Nice private drive, right on the lake. Quiet neighborhood on the southern end of the lake. Beds were Full size, comfy and clean. Kitchen was very well stocked with all we needed for the week, including basic seasonings. Spacious house, lots of seating inside & out as we had all of our meals outside. Gas and charcoal grill available. Fire pit. Large bathroom with tub and shower. Had plenty of body towels, washcloths, and soap for dishes and laundry. We’d definitely stay here again

Lake House in superb location
Great experience and we were (family of 4) extremely pleased with house and experience. Loved being on the lake. Went to close-by Farm Club twice and enjoyed being close but outside of the immediate bustle of TC. Huge wins = lakefront view, ducks, outdoor grilling, and sunsets.

Location is wonderful, south side of Lake Leelanau gives great sunrise and sunset light. Central to Sutton’s Bay and Traverse City, makes it easy to check out the local sights. Feels both central and off the beaten path. This home has been thoughtfully updated but keeps the lakeside look and feel intact. Spacious sitting areas made it perfect for social and lounge time. Owners are responsive and helpful for local knowledge. Will be back!

Perfect lakehouse for ANY season!
Wow, this place exceeded all of our expectations for a winter getaway with friends...we loved it so much we'll for sure book it again in the summer! It was absolutely perfect - from the location on the south end of beautiful Lake Leelanau (close to everything) and its amazing property right on the water with gorgeous views to the open and newly renovated space, cool updated kitchen with barstool seating for six (plus a dining room!), three bedrooms and two bathrooms...this place has it all. Especially loved the coziness of the great room with the high ceilings, knotty pine and an awesome wall of built-in shelving that I wish I had at home. There were eight of us and we had plenty of space to hang out together or do our own thing. It also has a washer and dryer, which we'll definitely need when we're back this summer! Jody and Lance were great hosts too - thank you both for an amazing stay!

Relaxing getaway close to attractions
We stayed here for a peaceful weekend. The place looked just like in the pictures, very clean and well presented, had all the amenities we anticipated. The location was ideal for hitting up town as well as west side outdoor locations without feeling like we were super touristy. It’s right on the lake, so we can’t wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the span of Lake Leelanau!
