Great Family Getaway on the East side of Traverse City

Spacious five bedroom four bathroom home located on the east side Traverse City.
With shopping, beaches, boat launches, hiking trails and the Tart trail (Traverse Area Recreation Trail) close by, this home offers a great location to ensure that your stay in Traverse City is everything you planned it to be. The spacious bedroom suites allow for privacy when needed, the large kitchen and main living area offer a great place to cook and enjoy each others company, and for those that seek outdoor entertainment, the patio area offers a couple of different areas to lounge and recharge from the days activities. The patio space includes an outdoor fire place and a number of yard games that can be enjoyed by guests. We loved this property, finding it perfect to host our group for a weekend getaway. It was located in a quiet area but was still quite close to town for easily accessible restaurants and activities. We would absolutely return!

Great place to stay for families!
We had a great stay here. It is kid and pet-friendly and has a nice backyard with privacy fence, grill, firepit and sitting area. The house is well decorated with a cozy cabin feel. It is clean and has plenty of space for everyone to streth out and relax. We will definitely stay again!

5 Mile House
We had enough room for everyone. Everything was clean and would definitely stay here again. Very close to town too. Loved the architectural interests in the home layout, furnishings and even the ceiling fans. There were two family areas and we used them both. The upstairs coffee table was the perfect size for a puzzle.

Wedding weekend with family!
The whole family enjoyed Carrie’s amazing house! We were a big group (10 people) but never felt cramped. The game room was a hit with the younger people in the group, but we all appreciated the 4 full bathrooms since we had everyone getting ready at the same time for our nephew’s wedding. We actually talked about trying to book again for sometime this summer! Great location, comfortable, fully-appointed house! Thank you, Carrie!

Weekend Bachelorette Trip
We stayed here for a bachelorette party. The check in process was so easy, Carrie is so responsive. She always got back to me with any questions I had within minutes. The property has a lot of space we had 10 adults and there was plenty of space for everyone. The backyard is great for hanging out. The ride to downtown was about 12 minutes and a very easy ride. Right next to the house is a walking trail. I would recommend staying here.
