If you have children, the house has a grass garden perfect for play as on a corner spot. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Easy to drive to the many beaches and not far to Asturias and Bilbao. "Excellent property. Only drawback would be you can hear upstairs neighbors. Moving chairs, doing laundry, people talking, even dogs crying. Lovely town, easily walkable. "

"Excellent place to stay. Very clean and very friendly staff. Excellent location to visit the “must see” medieval town of Santillana Del Mar in Cantabria. This northern part of Spain is very beautiful and this hotel is also very convenient to sight see towns around. The Altamira Caves and its replicas, another must see, are 2 - 3 minutes away. Loved the place."

Lovely 15th century mansion

"This is a beautiful property in a 15th century mansion in a lovely little town. It was great to have private secure parking and the staff was so helpful. The bar was a great little spot and breakfast was delicious. There is no restaurant however and only selected options at the bar. We were there in mid-November and restaurant options in town were limited. Overall highly recommended and reasonably priced."
