"The cabin is beautiful! The kitchen was wonderful for a small cabin and the sauna was amazing! It was an easy walk into town as well. The hosts and property manager communicated really well and called to follow up about the reservation as soon as I made it, as well as the day of check in. Thank you for a great stay! "

"The employees at the hotel were all very personable and helpful, especially Ashley. The lobby was very comfortable with a huge stone fireplace, furniture and large windows for viewing the scenery outside. Our room was comfortable, and had a perfect view of Mt McKinley. The only thing missing was a microwave in the room. It was very quiet. The hotel also had snowshoes and tubes for guests to use free of charge. We went snowshoeing one day on the trails around the property. The hotel is just a few minutes from the town and train station and has a free shuttle to both. The shuttle driver was very accommodating and always on time. There is a bistro open for dinner and a small coffee stand in the lobby with breakfast items for sale. There is another restaurant, but it wasn’t open for the season yet. A small gift shop had limited hours. The staff did call us during the night to let us know the northern lights were visible. We would stay here again."

"Great place and location for my needs. Asked for a late checkout and granted which helped me out a lot. Only strange thing was the tv was in the bedroom only and not the living area. I made it work but seemed odd. I will stay there again though. "

"We’re return guests to this property for good reason: it’s beautiful, quiet, well-equipped, and has fantastic hosts. It even has an automatic standby generator, so when the power went out during the snowstorm it wasn’t an issue. Don’t hesitate to book this gem!"

"We were only going to stay one night just to cross country ski, but it was so quiet and relaxing in the small town of Talkeetna we decided to stay a week. Rooms are very clean and everything is in walking distance, amazing view of Denali, plus the added bonus was seeing the northern lights. "

"Stayed a couple of days in Talkeetna for New Years. Everyone loved the cabin. My kids loved the loft area and playing outside on the property, especially doing s'mores with the firepit. My wife enjoyed the sauna and being able to relax and read a book with an amazing view of the outdoors, and I enjoyed the well stocked kitchen. We all had a blast and can't wait to go back. Amazing hosts!"
