"This a very simple hotel, with the minimum facilities in the room. It is located very close to the main attraction of the town — the fortress, so if you stop over to see the citadel and its museums, this hotel is the best budget variant. "

"I really loved the fact that I could upgrade to a 4* apartment for a reasonable fee. The room was absolutely gorgeous, with a very large and comfortable bed. The bathroom and room were very clean; basically nothing beats a recently built property where you feel that things are new and very clean. I also loved the fact that it was very warm in the room, it helps to have excellent heating in the middle of winter when temperature hits negatives. I loved the lobby, too; very London vibe to be able to sit there and work in the morning. The breakfast is also very nice and I personally loved the mushrooms and the ikra / taramasalata they had. Probably one of the best I've had ever. The breakfast is a combo of English and Continental; the basics of scrambled eggs and bacon were good, but also some specific Romanian dips were there. I really liked the fact that the breakfast was included and I did not have to pay for it separately. The other thing I loved is that they have a restaurant next to the hotel and I could have dinner there; they have a very diverse menu, can't imagine that someone would not find something that would make them happy there: I decided to try the hamburger and it was delicious. The people at reception was super nice and accommodating; I needed extra batteries for my medical device and they provided them at no extra cost. Overall, a great stay for me, and I will definitely come back this summer for the garden and the spa that will be opened in a few months!"

"The place had everything from a variety of tea bags to soft clean robes, even honey packets for your tea! This place gives everything you can imagine and the pool was definitely the best part! It has 2 amazing water slides and you can order drinks while in the pool. Definitely the best hotel ever!"

"As this is the only 18 hole course in this region of the country, I did not know what to expect. I has thoroughly exceeded my expectations. The accommodations are very nice and clean. The included breakfast is cooked to order and it was delicious. The pool is also wonderful and they offer bar service until 5pm every day. The best part of the stay was the golf. We were not able to bring our own set, so we rented. It was a good set, not the latest model, but it was easy to use and it was nice to warm up on the range prior to the round. The range does not allow long clubs to be hit due to the small area, but warming up with irons is sufficient. Walking-only, but you can use a pull-cart. The course layout is fantastic and the greens have a good complex, many of them being very large. There are plenty of hazards where you can lose a stray shot, but the course plays fair. I was impressed by the condition of the course and you can tell they take pride in the course and amenities. The defense of the course is it’s rough. You’ll want to keep it out of the rough or you will pay the price. In short, this is a quality golf resort with wonderful accommodations and amenities and the golf is good enough to come back again and again. We’ll be back for sure."

"Our week at Casa Nicu was just what we had hoped for. This is a slightly rustic unit but is clean and has everything you need. Some of their other units are more modern but don’t have some of the character this one does. Werner was excellent at communicating all along and was waiting at our arrival. If we needed anything someone was there in minutes but they never intruded. My one suggestion was a couple of comfortable chairs to sit in for the evening and a few minutes later we had a couple of loungers that made it much more comfortable. If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel experience keep looking but if you like quiet rustic check this out."
