"Great location right on the Rogue River. Was fun watching the rafters float by. Bed was comfy. Room was good size as pictured. However, the bathroom was tiny tiny. Very difficult to get in and out of the shower. Manager says that this room is to be remodeled. It needs it to improve the bathroom situation. This is the only hotel we have ever stayed in that did not provide ice. We had to go across the street and buy ice."

"Finding the place was easy if you stick closely to the directions. I prefer to stay a bit out of town usually and this is only 15 minutes from Medford. There are two routes to get there, I prefer the back route off the freeway, which adds about 3 minutes, but we saw an abundance of wildlife that way, and avoided the traffic on I-5. "This is a historical cabin on the Rogue River. Like most historical cabins it is small and dark. Fortunately the outdoor space is amazing. This is the perfect place to go for any season except for winter when it would be too dark. It does need some updating. The kitchen is outfitted to match the time of the cabin. "Perfect place to stay for a relaxing adventure. It's about 1 hour away from the Crater Lake Lodge and an easy drive. The house is clean and comfortable. The outdoor area by the river is covered so you can enjoy even when it's raining. Our only critique was that there was only one kitchen towel for use. I would suggest a few more for guests that like to cook and do not want to waste paper towels."
