"The cabin was very nice, the decor was well thought out and really gave a sense of what it was like to be a homesteader back in the 1800’s. What I don’t feel was well communicated or advertised is that the bathroom facilities are NOT in the cabin, it’s a compost toilet in and outhouse. There is no running water in the cabin or bathroom, she does provide water in both places but there is no sink in the cabin and the sink in the bathroom has to be used with water from the dispenser. "The property was just as described. We had 4 adults stay the night but had a total of 15 people for Thanksgiving dinner and everything went great. Extra tables and chairs on site allowed us to set up the space exactly how we wanted. So thankful for this property! Made our family Thanksgiving another great one!"

"The house is gorgeous, property spotless and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. Property manager and staff are on call almost 24/7 and very responsive to any questions we had. House fit all 12 of us comfortably; they even have sleep number beds! We enjoyed the firepit table and got good use out of their smoker! We had a blast...if you love nature, hiking, fishing, and zillions of stars at night, you'll love this place!"
