FAMILY- 2 Bedroom with upper loft with Waterfall, Horse ranch

****This is NOT a party home! This home is geared towards families and guests who want to enjoy a quiet, relaxing setting.

This is a completely renovated (brand new home) club house. Patio door leading out to majestic waterfalls and island oasis with a beach setting. Bathroom is all new marble and tile. Brand new open concept kitchen, heat, AC, on demand hot water, very small upper loft for relaxing or the children. Looking to book from May 15th onwards.

Main living room has a pull out couch and the upper loft has a pull out bed.


We have 40 acres of walking around 25 beautiful horses, 2 accessible ponds (one outside the patio doors of the home, and other in back walking area). There is an equestrian facility that is offering horseback riding and lessons. ( additional cost-please inquire if interested to reserve session much ahead of booking, and requirements of clothing to bring to wear)

The home can sleep 8 guests. There is a limit of 6 guests in the price listed for your stay. If you would like to add extra guests it is $100 per person per night.

We are only minutes away from Kingsville Beach (Cedar Beach).
15 minutes from Colchester Beach witch has a awesome splashpad for kids and outdoor snack restaurant Ice cream shop.

10 Minutes from Essex- Grocery Shopping/ food/ small shops.

20 Minutes to Windsor Ontario- Shopping mall, Casino.

20 Minutes to Amherstburg Ontario.- Shopping, dining, waterfront views.

*****FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
-Is there a BBQ? YES, there is a propane BBQ for you to use. Please clean grill after use.

-Can you swim in the pond? Yes, the pond beside the home you may swim in at your own risk. please use the beach entrance to enter the pond. Children should be supervised at all times.

- Is there a fire pit? Yes, there is a fire pit to the south side of the home where you will be able to have a small campfire.

- Is there outdoor seating? Yes, there is wrap around seating on the deck of the home. Also, there is patio chairs and camping folding chairs for the beach/ camp fire area.

- Is there boats available? Yes, there is a one person kayak with paddles, and a 2 person paddle boat you may use during your stay (life jackets available stored inside the deck box) Please make sure children are supervised at all times.

****This is NOT a party home. Very relaxing setting for spending time with family or friends. Only people booked for the stay are allowed to be on the property during the booking period. Failure to comply with the rules of the home will result into immediate departure.

Excellent location
Place was clean, well appointed, easy to access, very quiet. I had some wifi issues that host went above and beyond to solve. The only critique I would suggest is a larger TV as the sitting room is quite large and there’s possibly 20+ feet to the TV. Us older gentleman need the visual help. Would stay again when visiting family in the area.

Amazing Little Getaway
We had an amazing long weekend at this beautiful property! We fished off the back deck and from the row boat on the private pond, kayaked, grilled and hung out on the deck having drinks and playing games. This is definitely a serene, quiet getaway. Not for the party crowd. The sound of the waterfall is amazing - makes it feel like you're in the middle of the mountains. The house is nestled on a massive property with a horse farm you can walk around. The owners live in a beautiful home close to the rental house but were very quiet and we rarely saw evidence of people, making it feel very private. Overall a fantastic trip and we will surely be back!

Weekend get away.
We had an amazing stay. The weather was summer perfect, and the cottage was great. The place is extremely clean and very quiet. Just a great all-round wonderful place to relax and do nothing. Easy to find and there are many places to find things in case you forgot to pack something. As a bonus, there is a sweet ginger tabby and a brown lab named Bean. You will want to take her home with you too. It’s a wonderful rental.

The host was fantastic the cottage was spacious and had pretty much everything you need . My sons loved the pond and dog & cat. It is a great place to relax The evenings are wonderful with the fire pit to roast marshmallows .

It was very relaxing, wifi was a little ify but couldve been due to weather. Other than that the kids and i had a very good time . We did try to venture out to the beaches unfortunately it got closed down due to water contamination. Nova the brown lab and her friend winnie the corgi were a delight 😊

Great pond and spacious
The house was clean, the beds and sheets are great, the kitchen was great too. All very spacious. We had a very pleasant stay. The pond was great to swim and we had fun with it. The bbq was filthy, the life jackets had mold, there was no stand up paddle and the duck boat and kayak were abandoned. The weeds in the pond could be removed to make it more pleasant. The pond

Nice getaway in the country
My girlfriends and I stayed here for a short getaway. Overall, we had a great stay. The location was central to all we wanted to do. Nice setting on a horse farm, though when we were there, there were fewer horses than described on the listing. Still, it was nice to walk out into the field and see them. We ran into a few snags with tvs and coffee maker not working, but the owners were extremely quick and helpful with the response and a fix. The deck on the pond with a soothing waterfall was nice to come back to after running around and sightseeing all day. Unfortunately, a few days were too cold to fully enjoy it. Check in and out was super easy - weren’t required to strip beds or start a load of towels as some others require. A nice bonus. I’d recommend if you’re looking for a nice place to relax and getaway from it all, which is exactly what we were looking for.

Fantastic Cousins Weekend
I loved the place. I would recommend to anyone. The only issue we had was some of the overhead lights were burned out and Shantel immediately brought us over a powerful light we could use until the bulbs were replaced. The beds and the pull out couch were all comfy. We went horse back riding which was so fun. A shout out to Jessica and her mom for taking us riding and showing us around the barn area. We were able to walk around the farm and pet the horses that were outside. The pond outside our place was so pretty with the waterfall. We didn’t go swimming because it was not warm enough for us but it looked inviting. Coffee maker is a kuerig just so you know. The online info never specified. The BBQ seemed relatively new and was amazing to cook on. The inside gas stove was great. If you book the place you won’t be disappointed.

Absolute HEAVENLY !!!
I cannot begin to express how amazing this property is . The photos just don't do it justice !!! So clean , so spacious and so beautifully decorated . The hosts have literally thought of your every need prior to you arriving . Every kitchen utensil, bowl , plate , pot etc is provided . The BBQ is gorgeous and super easy to use . We usually go out for a few meals when on vacation ..but NOT this one . We simply BBQ'd each night and kept our breakfast and lunch simple . Having my morning coffee outside whilst listening to the lovely waterfall was an absolute perfect way to start each day . My daughters loved swimming in the pond and got a real kick out of the lovely Swan paddle boat . Just a wonderful treat . The inside of this rental is much larger than portrayed and our whole family was impressed with the space . Nice touch was a TV in BOTH bedrooms and the addition of night lights throughout show that the hosts have truly taken the time to ensure your vacation is perfection . Beds are super comfortable and the pillows are of the highest quality . My 8 year old when back to school and wrote a journal entry on the first day that said " One of my favourite memories of this summer ....let me tell you a tale about a Chocolate Brown Dog named Nova , a Horse named Tilly and a Big Red Swan " .....needless to say we will be back .

Amazing vacation!!
Beautiful property!! We loved every minute of our vacation here! It was even nicer in person than in the pictures! The area is quiet and very private. The grounds and the house were very clean and everything still looked and smelled brand new. The house was well stocked and had enough room for everyone to spread out while still being cozy. The pond was beautiful, so relaxing, and a lot of fun! We loved the deck overlooking the pond. The kids really enjoyed using the kayak and paddle boat. We were also able to walk over to the indoor arena and ride the horses with Cayla. John was not home at the time of our stay but he was available to answer any questions we had. Was overall an amazing experience. We told all our friends and family about it! We would definitely come here again! Thank you, John for creating such a beautiful getaway for others to enjoy!

Great vacation rental!
Overall great cottage with upper loft for children and two bedrooms beneath. Great swimming pond with boats included. 10 minutes from Lake Erie. Super peaceful place with a horse ranch.

Great stay!
We stayed here for a wedding and was very happy with our stay. We were happy to find an extra room that was small, but dark and quiet, with a pack-and-play for our baby. It was the perfect napping spot for her! The place was clean, spacious, well-equipped and peaceful. We would have liked a place to hang up our wedding attire, since there were no closets or hooks anywhere.

Ladies R&R trip
This was our first time cottaging and we fell in love with this listing. Pictures don't do it justice as it totally surpassed our expectations. Quiet, peaceful, close to multiple wineries and historical destinations for day trips. We enjoyed floating in the pond with the overly friendly fishies. Only slight issue we had was trying to figure out all the light switches and corresponding remote controls. Some labels would have helped with our confusion. There was enough ambient lighting so that the person staying in the loft was able to navigate at night. Already planning our trip next year.

Family Weekend
The unit and property were both awesome! Couldn't have asked for a cleaner place. Our kids loved the water and boats. We enjoyed campfires and walks to see the horses as well. Our only complaint was that we reached out about scheduling a horse experience and were given the run around. First we were given a name and number of someone who never got back to us. Then we reached out to the host during our stay and again no one got back to us. Beautiful property and our family loved it, but we were disappointed that we were mislead about the horses.

We had the best family vacation!
Our kids are crazy about horses and this was the perfect private getaway to relax as a family and to be around them! The property was beautiful and secluded. The cabin was spacious inside, felt newly renovated, and had a walk-out to a private deck with a great bbq overlooking a pond with a waterfall, it was just such a relaxing atmosphere, having lunch and dinner out there! The host was very welcoming, the horse trainers were also very kind and accommodating. We paid extra to schedule horse rides for the kids and they just absolutely loved it. We literally had the best time as a family and created memories we will never forget. God bless you. Thanks.
