"We had a lovely one night stay at this bed and breakfast. We stayed in the family cottage/suite which is a separate structure, just across the small but lovely gardens in front of the house. "I had the worst experience with a host. After I booked and paid through Vrbo, for 48 nights for 14 persons, the owner asked for an additional payment of 42% of the price. I thought it is unbelievable. I did not accept this, I wanted to cancel. After some days of messaging, when the emergency state was imposed in France and she realized she will not get other guests, she accepted my offer to pay a small additional amount and finalized the booking.
