"We found the Black Bass resort on Expedia and came from Geneva for a few days as a family. It was outstanding from all perspectives and we would love to come back. The restaurant served delicious fish from the lake, an excellent (if expensive) breakfast and the staff was helpful, friendly and spoke English. We loved the spa and the indoor pool as well as the beautiful views from the outdoor pool. The landscaping is exquisite and our teenaged son enjoyed the setting as much as the adults! We took the free tourist bus (15A) into the village of Sevrier and enjoyed a local breakfast and lots of shopping for regional delicacies. The staff was helpful in guiding us to a boulangerie there. Overall, while this property was not cheap, we felt every penny was well spent. Highly recommend (especially for families). "

"Exterior could do with freshen up, but interior is clean and fresh. Staff very friendly and helpful and were able to give us two rooms early afternoon. There are a few diners in the area. We didn't have the breakfast, but it looked pretty good."
